Persephone’s Return is a shimmery pale green color that sparkles in the light.
- Opaque in 2-3 coats depending on application.
- I recommend a blurring base coat for most polishes. For longevity and shine, layer under a quick drying top coat. *all swatch photos show polish layered under a top coat*
- This is a 21-free formula (free of 5+ common toxic ingredients often found in mainstream polish including toluene).*
- Each nail polish is created in small batches to ensure freshness and longevity. Due to the handmade nature of this product, slight inconsistencies can be expected.
INSPIRATION
This polish is inspired by the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades:
- Hades, the god of the Underworld, fell in love with Persephone, daughter of the goddess of agriculture. With Zeus's consent (of course because Zeus is the ultimate a**) Hades abducted her from the mortal world.
- He took her to the Underworld, married her, and she became Queen of the Underworld.
- Persephone's mom, Demeter, was devastated and refused to let the Earth bear fruit until her daughter was returned.
-As a compromise, Persephone was allowed to spend half the year with Demeter on Earth (Speing and Summer) and the other half with Hades in the Underworld (Fall and Winter)
SHIPPING
- All polishes will come shipped in bubble wrap and mailed in boxes. Due to shipping constraints, polish can only be shipped via Ground. Rush shipping is not available.
- Sometimes bottles leak slightly during transit- if there is a small amount of polish on the threads of a bottle you receive, that’s normal! Your polish is still completely new and usable.
- All sales are final unless product is damaged during shipping process. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out and I’ll do my best to make it right.
