I chose a red base (\"ACCESS\") because I like bright, flashy, warm reds. Red also represents raging emotions and blood vessels.\u003cbr\u003eNavigating the healthcare, societal, and governmental roadblocks to management of \"rare\" (quotes because many are not rare) diseases can make one feel a bit fiery under the surface of our \"zebra\" disability. I have numerous blood vessel abnormalities from EDS. I also wanted a thermal because it can show circulation in real time and remind us to increase our circulation and\/or warm our extremities.\u003cbr\u003eThis collaboration goes much deeper than one diagnosis, however. Hyp+Access serves a constellation of interconnected conditions that share common threads through our connective tissues.
